Kids In Need
Not every child in America is lucky enough to get new school supplies each year. This is why AETN supports the Kids in Need Foundation, a national organization dedicated to helping under-resourced classrooms by funding teacher grants, creating lesson plans, and providing free school supplies. Every child should experience the joy that comes with buying new school supplies, and the Kids in Need Foundation is working throughout the country to realize this goal. For more information on this foundation, and to find out how you can help, go to www.kidsinneed.net.

INTERVENTION Sunday nights at 10pm ET/PT
While some wish to make this difference on a large-scale, others choose to help someone one-on-one. Intervention raises awareness about the alternatives and treatment options available to those who suffer from addictions, and gives hope to families who have nowhere left to turn. This is not a series for young adolescents. There is vulgar language and actual drug use shown on camera. It is informative and educational concerning the ruinous effects addiction can have on a dependent individual and that person's family and friends. And it demonstrates that intervention is one way to start a new life. Helping an addict get the help he or she needs is one way individuals can make a difference. Click here for more information on Intervention.
